Brogborough is one of the few large lakes in the country (220 acres) that is totally dedicated to windsurfing.

No other craft are allowed on the lake with the exception of the rescue boat, and a few kayaks and SUPs on windless days.

The club has a thriving membership and always has vacancies for anyone who wants to join.

Membership: If you have your own kit Join Brogborough lake and you can sail when and as much as you want. You can even store you kit onsite for a small monthly fee. Endless Summer

The on-site shop, Endless Summer, caters for all your windsurfing needs. We stock and can supply most brands, just ask and we will do our best. We also have a range of Tushingham sails and Starboard boards available for demo.

Speed Ladder

Every year, Brogborough sailors compete for the coveted speed trophy. The aim is simple, using a handheld GPS just go as fast as you can and verifiy your speed with the lake manager. The fastest of the year wins the trophy.

A GREAT SPORTING WEEKEND!

Okay so there was an epic Wimbledon Final and Lewis Hamilton’s dazzling display in the wet! But the real action was at Brogborough Lake & Hayling Island! A fabulous windsurfing weekend!

BROGBOROUGH LAKE SATURDAY 5th July
Stunning! A first in fact. Wind, sun and 8 hours of skills training with a great bunch of sailors combining to make a productive and very enjoyable day at Brogborough. We worked through and improved everyone’s fast tacks, ‘upwind downwinders’, early planing, pumping, non-planing and planing gybes, clew first beach starts and to end the day Clive scored a few jumps on SB’s Futura 122 & Tushy T-Bird 7m!!!

A big thanks to Tony for hosting the day and to all those on the course. You now have a few secrets to practice this summer. Thanks to everyone at Brogborough for making me feel so welcome and I look forward to seeing you on the water again in the future!
